Information Collection

We log visitor's domain and IP address automatically; this information does not identify you as an individual, but only the computer that is being used to view the site. This data is used to see where the site is being used in
the world to ensure coverage, and for click stream analysis to help better understand site usage, so that we can improve our service to you. We do not link information automatically logged by such means with personal data about specific individuals.

The site collects only personally information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by you for example, if you register online. Such information may consist of, but is not limited to, your name, current job title, company address, email address and telephone and fax numbers.

We will ensure that our marketing activities comply with applicable law, and implement procedures to obtain necessary consents before sending you email containing information about Renaissance. You may at any time request that we discontinue sending you such materials.

By entering our website you have consented to Renaissance &/or UNIME retaining your information on their database to be used by Renaissance &/or UNIME and passed to selected third parties, to assist in communicating products and services which may be of interest to you. Governing Law

Your use of this website and downloads from it, and the operation of these terms and conditions, shall be governed in accordance with the laws of South Africa . The South African courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your use of this website.

In the event that any or any part of the terms contained in these terms and conditions shall be determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term shall to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that all speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of going to press. However, circumstances beyond the control of Renaissance & UNIME may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics and /or event. The organiser reserves the right to alter, add or subtract from the content and to change the speakers or topics if required. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our website in real time and on the final brochure in the conference file. Delegate substitution is welcome. However, Renaissance & UNIME must be advised of the substitution forty-eight (48) hours prior to the event.

Cancellations made within seven (7) days of Renaissance/UNIME receiving the registration form, will be subject to a 25% administration fee. Thereafter the delegate/booking organisation accepts full liability for the total registration amount due. Cancellations received in writing no later than seven (7) working days prior to the conference will entitle delegates to receive a full credit to be used at another Renaissance/UNIME event valid for up to 12 calendar months from the date of issuance, should payment have been made for the event. Failure to cancel in writing and on time will result in a forfeiture of the full amount paid. In the event that Renaissance/UNIME cancels an event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited to a future alternative or similar event to the same ZAR value (client to select). This credit will be valid for up to 12 calendar months from the date of issuance. In the event that Renaissance/UNIME postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a full credit towards a future Renaissance/UNIME event. This credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. No refunds will be available for cancellations or postponements.

Renaissance/UNIME is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of an event.. Renaissance/UNIME shall assume no liability whatsoever if this event is altered, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled due to a unexpected event, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders presentation of the event imprudent, illegal or unfeasible. Examples of unforeseen occurrences shall include, but shall not be limited to: an act of God, Institutional regulation, ban, suspension or restriction, war or apparent act of war, terrorism or apparent act of terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, disturbance or riots leading to or resulting in the disruption or curtailment of basic services such as transportation and or any other emergency. Renaissance/UNIME does not have to prove that it used its best endeavours to avoid rescheduling, cancelling or altering an event for the client to hold Renaissance/UNIME harmless from all costs, damages and expenses which are incurred by the client.
